FSC® Certification
FSC certification helps identify forest-based products supported by verified sourcing and chain-of-custody systems. When purchasing certified wooden pallets, check the supplier's valid certificate and the relevant product documentation.
The EUDR
The EU Deforestation Regulation introduces due diligence requirements for certain timber-derived products. Whether wooden pallets fall within its scope depends on their classification, sale and use as transport packaging. Applicable deadlines also depend on the operator's status and size.
ISPM 15 Treatment
